It’s important to remember at this time that this course is about swing concept and not a Jazz drumming lesson. There will be no discussion of “comping”, Jazz Waltz, implied double time, etc… Although if you have never played Jazz before, you now have a working knowledge of how the ride cymbal functions in the music.
